Built in 1703 and converted to a bar in 1919 by Michael Tynan, this is Kilkenny's oldest pub, just beside the River Nore. The Victorian interior — stained glass, wood panelling, and cosy snugs — pours one of the most acclaimed pints of Guinness in the city.
